Dearly beloved in Christ,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

I praise God for this time to greet all of you through this newsletter

of our parish.

Let us thank God for bringing us safely to the third month of 2023.

In the past, we had passed through many different situations. In all

these situations we could experience the presence of God.

In the month of February 2023, we lost our senior member, Mr. V.

P. Abraham. Let us praise God for his life and contributions and

pray for the comfort of the bereaved family.

On March 5

th

we observe Diocesan Sunday. Let us pray for the vari-

ous missionary endeavors of the diocese and contributes to them.

On March 15

th

we observe mid-lent, Church meditates on the theme

necessity of the cross on that Day. March 31

st

church observes as

Fortieth Friday. We are planning to conduct Malayalam Holy Qurba-

na on this day. I also encourage all of you to participate in lent pray-

ers every evening either through zoom or in-person in houses ac-

cording to the arrangements. Please remember and encourage our

youths to participate in the Friday evening lent prayers in English

which is arranged for the benefit of our youths.

May God help us to experience His presence through our worship

and fellowship and thus participate in the mission of God. Let us

pray to God to be with us through all the life situations.

Youth Chaplain’s Message

Dearly Beloved in Christ,

Let us thank God that we are blessed to be part of this

Lenten journey. Each Sunday of Lent guides us to remember

the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ. The selfless love of

Christ in how He used His time to love us is a reminder that

this Lenten journey should be a sharpening experience that

helps us understand how we use our time and energy as we

move forward. It is a season for us to retrospect and intro-

spect ourselves to see if our commitment to God matches

God’s commitment to us. We know the answer that it does

not. It is vital for us to recognize God committing Himself

totally to us through His birth, life, death, burial, and resurrec-

tion. Therefore, the time God blesses us to exist in this world

should be dedicated to Him. Timothy Keller once said, “if

God is not at the center of your life, then something else

is”. Lent should be an opportunity for us to recognize the

things, positions, people, and the like that we put on the

throne of our life in which God should be seated. Lent

should not be just a 50-day commitment, but rather a call for

us to prepare for our lifetime.

Our Men’s Bible Study is in person at 8:00 pm, and the

Women’s Bible Study is on Saturdays at 8 pm on ZOOM. We

have WhatsApp groups for both if any of our men or women

are willing to be kept up to date about our stud-

ies and would like to be added, please reach out

to Justeena or me.

Our Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos will be visiting the
